DownloadReels (downloadreels.app) respects the intellectual property rights of creators and copyright holders and expects users of our Service to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA"), we maintain a clear policy to address claims of copyright infringement.

1. Technical Pass-Through & Zero Content Hosting

Before filing a notice, please understand the technical operation of DownloadReels:

• DownloadReels does NOT host, store, cache, or database any media files (videos, reels, photos, stories, audio) on our web servers.
• All media requested through our site is fetched ephemerally from the public Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) of Instagram and Facebook.
• Because media is hosted on third-party platform servers, filing a takedown notice directly with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc. will permanently remove the source content across the internet.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative acting on behalf of a copyright holder, and you believe that media accessible through our Service infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal written DMCA notice to our designated agent.

To ensure prompt processing, your notice must include the following information:

1. Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of Copyrighted Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Specific Source URL: The exact public Instagram or Facebook URL(s) containing the material alleged to be infringing.
4. Contact Information: Your full legal name, company name (if applicable), mailing address, phone number, and valid email address.
5. Good-Faith Belief Statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. Accuracy & Penalty of Perjury Declaration: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that access to media was restricted or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Agent containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was disabled.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, along with a statement consenting to local jurisdiction.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and applicable laws, DownloadReels maintains a policy of restricting or terminating access to our Service for users who are determined to be repeat infringers or who repeatedly submit bad-faith takedown notices.

6. False Claims & Misrepresentation Warning

Please be advised that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to legal liability, including court costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or site operator.
