About DownloadReels

DownloadReels is a free, browser-based tool for downloading Instagram and Facebook videos, reels, stories, and photos in HD quality. We built it for creators, marketers, and everyday users who need a fast way to save public content without installing an app or logging in.

What We Do

Paste a public Instagram or Facebook link — a post, reel, story, or video — and DownloadReels fetches the available media and gives you a direct download link. No account creation, no browser extension, and no watermarks added to your files.

Why We Built It

Most social platforms do not offer a native "save" button for offline video files. We wanted a simple, no-friction way to keep a copy of public posts for offline viewing, content curation, or backup — the kind of everyday task that shouldn't require ads, pop-ups, or a sign-up wall.

Our Approach to Privacy
